This Privacy Policy explains how Eliminator Fantasy Sports Inc. processes personal information through EFS websites, mobile applications, accounts, memberships, private leagues, and contests.
1. Who is responsible
Eliminator Fantasy Sports Inc., 32 Ashburnham Road, Toronto, Ontario M6H 2K3, Canada, is responsible for the processing described here. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to survive@eliminatorfs.com.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use EFS, we may process:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, account identifiers, authentication records, preferences, and communications.
- Eligibility and verification information: age, identity, residence, account ownership, and verification results.
- Location information: location and location-verification results when required at contest entry and lineup submission or edit.
- Gameplay information: entries, leagues, lineups, salaries, scores, ranks, locks, pod and funnel assignments, Immunity, elimination, re-entry, appeals, and integrity records.
- Membership, payment, prize, and tax information: membership status and transaction records; and, for potential winners, information necessary to verify and deliver a prize and meet reporting or withholding obligations.
- Device and service information: device, app, browser, network, log, diagnostic, security, analytics, push-notification, and remote-configuration events.
- Support and marketing information: messages, consent and preference records, campaign interactions, and records needed to honor self-exclusion or suppression requests.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts;
- determine eligibility and location, enforce entry limits, and administer leagues and contests;
- calculate scoring, ranking, elimination, advancement, and prizes;
- process memberships, payments, reversals, winner verification, payouts, and tax obligations;
- prevent fraud, collusion, multi-accounting, abuse, and other integrity violations;
- operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve EFS;
- deliver service, security, rules, support, and consented marketing communications; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and protect users, EFS, and the public.
4. Sources of information
We receive information from you, your device and use of EFS, league commissioners where applicable, and service providers involved in authentication, app distribution, hosting, location verification, sports data, analytics, communications, payments, verification, and prize fulfillment.
5. How information is shared
We may disclose information:
- to service providers that perform functions for EFS under applicable contractual and security requirements;
- when needed to administer a league, contest, integrity review, payment, or prize;
- to comply with law or a valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and contest integrity;
- in connection with a proposed or completed financing, reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer, subject to applicable safeguards; or
- with your direction or consent.
EFS does not publish sensitive identity-verification, precise-location, financial, or tax information. The Eliminator Open winners list is limited to the information described in its Official Rules.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account service, contest records, dispute and appeal periods, fraud prevention, financial and tax obligations, security, and legal requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. We may retain a limited suppression record after self-exclusion or a marketing opt-out so the request continues to be honored.
7. Security
EFS uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Report a suspected account or privacy incident promptly to survive@eliminatorfs.com.
8. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or object to certain uses. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required for contest integrity, financial records, security, disputes, self-exclusion, or law.
You may use account controls or contact us to manage marketing preferences. Self-exclusion is separate and has the immediate contest effects described on the Responsible Play page.
9. International processing
EFS and its providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other locations. Information may therefore be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of those jurisdictions.
10. Age
EFS is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly permit a person under 18 to enter the Eliminator Open. Contact us if you believe an underage person supplied personal information.
11. Policy versions and contact
The Privacy Policy version displayed and accepted at contest entry is recorded for that entry. We identify material changes by updating the effective date and provide notice or renewed acceptance where required.
